Biography

Writer and editor Adele M. Annesi, Ridgefield Cultural Festival, CTAdele Annesi is an award-winning editor and writer. Formerly a development editor for Scholastic Publishing, Adele is currently a book editor specializing in business, culture and memoir.

As a press correspondent and writer, Adele covers the arts, culture, events and people, as well as writing topics and travel.


She has contributed to The Circle and the Italian-American literary journal Pyramid, and her short fiction appeared in an anthology for Fairfield University, where she is studying for a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing. Her "After the Sunflowers" essay is part of Press Pause Moments: Essays About Life Transitions by Women Writers.

Adele presents pieces for Barnes and Noble and the Ridgefield Writers Guild, and as part of the Ridgefield Writes 300th Anniversary Program of the Ridgefield Library. She received the editor's choice award from Poetic Voices in America, and teaches the innovative Art of Editing in Writing workshops.
