What do characters long for? What do they fear they won’t achieve? To
craft memorable scenes that both reveal character and advance the plot, a
writer must craft memorable characters!
This workshop explores the seven
principles of method acting — personalization, motivation, subtext,
exploration, expression, restraint and emotional memory — to help writers
create believable characters that are uniquely theirs. The workshop is limited
to seven participants.
To make the most of the time, bring your current or planned project, a 50-word description of the same and one example of a scene you're having trouble visualizing and/or fleshing out, or a scene you feel isn't quite working.
