 The Ridgefield Library author series presents a seminar and discussion on life transitions and writing with author, editor and instructor Anne
Witkavitch.
 Anne, Press Pause Moments: Essays About Life Transitions by Women
Writers won the 2011 Clarion Award for nonfiction, will speak on the subject of transitions,
particularly in the lives of writers. "As human beings we're always changing, growing,
transforming, and transitioning our lives," Anne noted after editing and compiling Press Pause Moments.
 Joining Anne is award-winning writer and
editor Adele Annesi, whose "After the Sunflowers" essay on becoming an Italian citizen is part of
this intimate and engaging series of stories.
Writers — and those who love and support them — are
welcome. Bring your questions, comments and quandaries to this candid seminar and
discussion.
